GBI-SHARE is not a training program. It is a daily operating habit built into every pre-task plan, every toolbox talk, every site interaction. Every meeting or day starts with a GBI-SHARE moment, a safety observation, near-miss, lesson learned, or recognition. This is not optional.
When something doesn't look right, you stop. You don't keep moving because it's inconvenient.
You assess the situation and identify what's needed.
You look at the full picture before acting.
You speak up with a solution, not just a problem.
You recognize safe behavior. You reinforce what good looks like.
Industry average TRIR consistently above 3.5 for comparable craft work. In 2023, our TRIR was 0.30, on nearly 1.5 million manhours, more than ten times safer than the industry standard.
Our goal: TRIR below 0.45 in 2026. Below 0.30 by 2028.
Safety training at GBI is not a one-time orientation. It is a continuous investment in the people who do the work.
GBI is a pre-qualified contractor through leading third-party networks including ISNetworld (ISN), Avetta, Browz, Veriforce, and GOLD Shovel Standard, required by the world-class engineering firms and owners we serve. Our safety record is a competitive advantage, not a checkbox.

Every person on a GBI site understands this before they start. Safety is not negotiable.
Every employee has the right and responsibility to stop unsafe acts, without threat of retaliation.
Safety is planned into every site, project, and task before work begins.
We do not accept the idea that injuries are part of the job. We plan accordingly.
